Airfare is NOT included in the overall retreat cost and attendees are responsible for their own airfare, scheduling, and baggage. MVP will provide two shuttles from Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport (KOA) to the retreat center between 1:00PM and 5:00PM on arrival day, and between 8:00AM and 10:00AM on departure day.
*Specific times will be based on the needs of the group. Please note to provide transportation from the airport to as many attendees as possible, MVP may schedule the times requiring a waiting period in-between shuttle times and arrival/departure times.
Participants will need to arrange their own transportation to/from the airport outside of these hours. Please note the airport is twenty-four (24) miles from the Whalespirit Sanctuary in Captain Cook approximately a forty-five (45) minute drive.

Our retreat center, Whalespirit Sanctuary, is located on five (5) acres of private, sacred, all-natural land overlooking the powerful vortex of Kealakekua Bay. Whalespirit Sanctuary is consistently voted one of the Top Ten (10) Retreat Centers across all Hawaiian islands, and we are so excited to host this retreat in such a beautiful place! The use of any recreational drugs or smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited on property. This is an open-air facility, and you are likely to meet geckos along the way!
MVP and Retreat Attendees will have access to a private, large yoga room, kitchen, and lanais. All Retreat Attendees will be room sharing with one (1) Twin and one (1) Queen each.
Worried about not getting a spot?
If you would like to share a room with a friend, each of you will need to purchase a spot, and then email email@example.com to request that you are placed in the same room.
Group meals are included on-site, however, participants should expect to pay for one (1) to two (2) meals off-site during their stay. On days which require longer drives Retreat Attendees will have the choice to be provided with a sack lunch or the opportunity to buy at activity centers/restaurants. Vegetarian and vegan meals can be accommodated if requested, but know this is not our standard meal plan. MVP will do our best to accommodate other dietary restrictions and allergies, but we cannot guarantee this. All participants must submit proof of vaccination OR proof of a negative COVID test taken within five (5) days of the beginning of the retreat (October 21, 2021). MVP will follow all local guidelines regarding masks when in public places, and participants are expected to adhere to these guidelines during their stay. Social distancing will be enforced whenever possible, and hand sanitizer will be readily available.
*The following is a general schedule that will be updated as more information becomes available and tourist activities continue to open on the Big Island. Main activities (ziplining, hiking, Volcano National Park) will remain part of the schedule, but dates/times may vary.

Day 3: Mini-Workshop, Beach Time / Snorkeling, Lunch, Optional Activity TBD, Dinner, Meditation
Day 4: Volcano National Park, Lunch in Park, Dinner, Return to Whalespirit
Day 5: Hiking, Beach/Free Time in Kona, Dinner, Closing

50% of Remaining Balance must be paid by August 15, 2021.

If requested on or before August 15th, you may be eligible for a 50% refund minus deposit paid.
From August 16th or later, NO REFUNDS will be given due to the nature of the purchase and event.
