On-Demand Yoga Therapy: Healing from Grief & Loss – Grieving Heart

ON DEMAND Yoga Therapy | 4 week Online Program | Starting Thursday, June 4th, 2026 | 12 PM – 1 PM CT

Grief transforms our inner landscape, affecting how we breathe, move, think, and feel. This program offers a nurturing space to process loss with presence, reconnect, and live anew. 

Each 60-minute session combines yoga, breathwork, meditation, and education to support healing.

It explores: understanding grief through the Kosha model: addressing physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual layers; gentle practices releasing emotion in the lungs and heart; breathwork, mantra, and meditation for processing loss; and how grief reshapes the nervous system and how yoga therapy aids recovery.

 

Whether dealing with fresh grief or old wounds, this series provides a compassionate space to breathe, feel, and find wholeness.

Barre Fusion: Queen’s Greatest Hits

Led by Vanisha Weatherspoon, this upbeat specialty class blends barre-inspired strength work with fluid yoga flow, creating a fun and empowering movement experience designed to keep you moving, sweating, and smiling from start to finish. 

Expect faster-paced sequences, rhythmic movement, and a playlist full of Queen’s greatest anthems carrying you through every pulse, rep, and breath. Beginner-friendly and welcoming to all levels, this class is all about movement, music, community, and celebration.

Light weights (1 to 2 lbs) are welcome if you have them, though props can be modified with studio equipment.

Arm Balance Workshop

build foundational strength and stability
understand energy distribution and hand placement
engage the core and upper body effectively
safely enter and exit poses
work with fear and build trust in your practice

Join us for a peaceful, all-levels yoga experience on the Highland Lawn as we move gently into stillness and rest with the setting sun. This free community class invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself in an open, natural setting.

We’ll begin with grounding movement to release tension and prepare the body, then ease into an extended Savasana as the sun sets, allowing space for deep relaxation and renewal.

Open to all levels, this class offers a welcoming environment for every body and every experience level.

Come as you are, bring a mat or blanket, and settle in for an evening of calm, connection, and rest.
