Vedic Astrology Workshop

Live Stream Workshop | November 21, 2020 | 9 AM – 3 PM
Christine Rodriguez

Christine Rodriguez is an Ashtanga yoga teacher, Vinyasa teacher, Vedic astrologer, and social worker. Christine came to the practice of yoga as a rock climber looking for methods of injury prevention. After her first ashtanga yoga class, it completely took over her life – and the rest is history! Christine has traveled to Mysore, India to study ashtanga yoga with Saraswathi Jois and has devoted countless hours to practice and mentorship under teachers in order to learn the art of adjustments. In addition, she is a certified Vedic astrologer and completed her Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas in 2020. Christine believes that healing involves the mental, emotional, and physical body – and that yoga has the capacity to tap into all three. It’s an honor to hold space for class and she is deeply humbled by her students.

In this workshop we will discuss the difference between western and Vedic astrology, what Vedic astrology is, and how to begin deciphering a natal birth chart. This workshop is geared for beginners, with no previous training on astrology or Vedic astrology. However, even if you’re a seasoned astrologer, you’ll have an opportunity to connect with like minded individuals, brush up on your skills, and will probably learn something new! The information in this course is intended to make you competent in understanding the signs, planets, and houses and how to begin properly interpreting a birth chart.

This course will include:

  • Thorough information on the houses, signs, and planets
  • The difference between western and Vedic astrology
  • How to synthesize knowledge of planets, houses, and signs into a proper interpretation
  • The possible use of YOUR individual birth chart as an example to learn on! (mini readings!)

Workshop details: This is a live stream workshop. The link to join will be sent after registration.  Investment: $25.
