My Vinyasa Practice | Austin, TX

Who We Are:
My Vinyasa Practice is structured around a built-in mentorship among yoga teachers, lead yoga teachers, and directors. We believe that, as yoga teachers, we are constantly deepening our practice and there is always a chance to learn and grow. With that, My Vinyasa Practice is organized in a way that allows teachers to learn from one another and work together as mentors and peers.

Company Mission Statement:
My Vinyasa Practice is a values-based Company founded on the principles of authenticity, accessibility, and affordability. We strive to bridge the gap between aspirational yoga and yoga for the people. We believe that all beings are born into a sentient enlightened state of awareness and that the projections of the world cause us to forget our truth. We believe that through yoga, meditation, and the practice of mindfulness, practitioners can awaken into their natural state of being and live healthy interdependent lives in the community. Our offerings reflect our values; each program, class offering, or one-on-one session comes from a place of authentic accessibility and is designed to reach the masses to uplift the collective consciousness. My Vinyasa Practice offers scholarships and community outreach programs that are designed to impact communities that may not have access to yoga and mindfulness practices.

Company Values:
Authenticity, accessibility, affordability.

Background Information of the Company:
My Vinyasa Practice, a female-owned company, started online yoga teacher training in 2016. The Company celebrates accessibility and affordability while remaining authentic. As the Company has grown, it has begun to include more diversity and inclusion (e.g., all bodies, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, etc.) in staffing and trainings. The Company values keep it in alignment with its historical growth.

Company Culture:
My Vinyasa Practice’s Company culture goes back to its values with an emphasis on being student-focused. We do not project our perspectives. Instead, we put it back to the application of our values. MVP says it is not about us; it is about our students. We do this by sharing content and supporting growth to give our students meaningful ways to apply what they learn in training.

Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:
My Vinyasa Practice has a strong commitment to respect and value every team member’s contribution to the workplace. We recognize the strength of bringing people together with various talents, experiences, and perspectives. Our commitment to diversity also means that discrimination will not be tolerated anywhere, in any form, within the Company.
